Basic knowledge and experience in tasks related to the administrative management of staff, as well as fluency in Spanish, would be an asset. EU Funded Volunteering Opportunity
Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, aims to achieve an active citizenship that fight against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, migrants’ rights and for climate justice. Join us at our office in Bogota! You will have the opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of human resources processes such as selection, recruitment, hiring, engagement, performance and training of staff. By the end of your experience you will be familiar with employee lifecycle processes, promoting compliance with labour legislation and contributing to the continuous improvement of the organisational climate and employee development plan.
Accommodation, Food and Transport Arrangements
You will have the opportunity to live with other people but with individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization and a phone card will be provided. The house will be located close to the office. You will receive a monthly allowance of 570€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. For the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided. You will also be covered with a health insurance (Henner).
Training During the Activity
You will receive training covering topics such as: introduction to Alianza por la Solidaridad, introduction to the European Solidarity Corps, responsibilities and rights of organisations and volunteers, Youthpass, Henner insurance and SHEA. In addition, you will receive more specific training in feminist leadership, profiling and role manuals. You will gain knowledge related to the development of a strategic staff plan and a wellbeing plan. By the end of your volunteering, you will know how to work in a multidisciplinary team.
