Summary:
The work schedule for this position is Full Time (40 hours per week) and will be located in the American Center Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Connaught Place New Delhi.

The incumbent must be available to travel throughout India.

Duties
Basic Function of the Position:
The incumbent will work in Public Diplomacy Office
. The Emerging Voices Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Emerging Voices (EV) Specialist.
The incumbent will coordinate Mission Public Diplomacy (PD) outreach to Emerging Voices audiences primarily youth, minorities, and others who are able to influence Indian attitudes toward the U.S. using new, often digital, communication networks rather than prominent protocol positions or established institutions.
S/he plans, develops, coordinates, oversees, and evaluates impact of PD activities, projects and initiatives to engage EV audience sectors.
S/he tracks trends in emerging networks through direct engagement, research, polling and statistical analysis and analytics.
S/he designs and recommends PD strategies and outreach activities to connect with EV audience sectors to promote understanding of and support for U.S. policy and dispel inaccurate perceptions.
The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:
This position requires three years of experience in a multilingual or multicultural or multinational or government or museum environment with marketing or public relations or mass media or education duties as part of the job.

This position requires completion of Bachelor degree in mass communications or international relations or arts management or museum education or marketing or public policy
