Community Development Specialist Jobs at UNICEF Mali

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them realize their potential. In 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for all.

Five Goals of UNICEF Mali

(1) Every child survives and thrives: to ensure that all children and adolescents are healthy, well and realize their full potential;

(2) Every Child Learns: Provide early, quality and inclusive education to every girl and boy in Mali, so they can reach their full potential;

(3) Every child is protected from violence and exploitation: improve policies and services that protect children and make Mali a safe place for all children;

(4) Every child lives in a safe and clean environment: protecting every child from exploitation, violence and abuse and providing access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene;

(5) Every child has a fair chance in life: promoting investment in children through effective policies and inclusive social protection programs.

These goals cover the full life cycle of the child, from birth to adolescence, through infancy and childhood.
